Site Establishment

Field was fenced, surveys conducted and environmental and safety control plans were initiated under council protocol.

Ground Preparation

Existing grass was removed with a topmaker before the sub grade was rotary hoed with soil amendments, then GPS laser levelled to a suitable shape and grade.

Irrigation

Installation of automatic field irrigation with upgraded IRRInet control system for remote control and monitoring.

Drainage

Drainage lines were trenched 3.25m apart with ag-flow pipe installed, then carefully backfilled and compacted to avoid subsequent settlement.

Final levels

Premium sports blend top soil imported, then GPS laser graded and shaped to achieve a +/- 10mm final level.

Turf Installation

Premium Nullarbor Couch was installed, rolled then treated with OxaMax fertiliser and pre-emergent.

Maintenance

12 week intensive maintenance program consisting of cylinder mowing, top dressing, scarifying, aerating, fertilising and pest and weed control.

Premium Drainage

Drainage lines trenched using TrenchIt TCT Pro Elite
Geofabric used to line bottom of trenches
Drainage lines completed with socked ag-flow pipe
Trenches backfilled with drainage gravel and sand
Trenches mechanically compacted to ensure no subsidence
Installation of pipe culvert with dissipator and rock wall to meet environmental standards
