Site Establishment

Two total kill applications to eliminate existing turf before deeply cultivating the existing profile using a rotary hoe and deep ripper.

Ground Preparation

Formally a waste facility, the site was highly contaminated and required a substantial amount of topsoil to improve the profile and growing conditions.

Drainage

Drainage lines were trenched 3.5m apart with precision pipe installed then carefully backfilled and compacted to avoid subsequent settlement.

Irrigation

Irrigation system installed utilising the latest technology and automated controls to efficiently and reliably minimise water usage.

Final Levels

Playing surface was contoured and shaped using GPS guided technology to optimise drainage performance.

Turf Installation

Installation of the very first TifTuf sports field in Australia, using washed tuf slabs for a world class playing surface.

Maintenance

6 week maintenance period consisting of fertilising, two top dressing applications and cylinder mowing.
